Pure Rock:
1) A tortoise with a rounded boulder-like shell that it can retract itself into and use to roll around, Indiana Jones-style.
2) Geodude-esque Pokemon based on marbles; all manner of color variations exist based around the huge array of different marbles out there.
3) Rock-type Eeveelution based on a ‘prehistoric’ ancestor; saber teeth, burlier body, large claws on the paws, the works.
4) Short, squat rock monster with a wide maw like the inside of a geode that is lined with crystalline teeth.
5) Cave-dwelling porcupine with quills made out
I'm doing this mostly for fun, it's basically sorting different species of dragons.
